Mission Statement:
The staff at Elliott Elementary School believes all students can learn and provides a high quality Common Core Standards Based curriculum through caring and best practices of instruction.
Vision Statement:
Elliott School World Navigators appreciate diversity, become technologically literate, develop skills for academic success, and utilize critical thinking skills to communicate effectively. We are a community of lifelong learners, responsible global citizens, and champions of our own success. We are respectful, kind and responsible.

The Start of the Year is Almost Here!!!

The Elliott Office is open and we are getting ready for the start of the year. School starts on Monday, August 26th. Please check the school calendar on this website for all important dates. If your child will be new to Elliott this year and you have not yet enrolled them, please do so right away by scrolling up our webpage to the tab that says Online Student Enrollment. Class assignments will be available on the Parent Portal at 4:00pm on Friday, August 23rd. Due to student privacy we no longer post class assignments in front of school. The campus will be open to parents from 8:00am - 8:30 am just for the first day of school. We look forward to a wonderful 2019-20.

Today, June 12th, is the last day of school for the 2018-19. It was a wonderful year of learning together. Enjoy all of your fun summer activities and don't forget to read daily! See the attached flier with information on how you can get your Cerritos Library card for free, They have many fun programs that are starting right away.

Thursday, May 9th Concert and Open House

Thursday is a big day at Elliott! We have early dismissal at 1:30 and our amazing student concert at 5:00pm! Make sure your child attends so you can see them in their final concert of the year. Students who perform will receive a homework pass. Open House will begin afterward at 6:30. There will be food vendors available to purchase, pizza, sandwiches and tacos. Join us for a wonderful evening of community and we celebrate the culmination of our global studies activities! We'll see you there!

Parents, if you have heard stories about the online hoax titled "Momo" and would like more information about it, please use the attached link, sent to us by the District office.

5th Grade Parent Survey - California Healthy Kids

5th grade parents, we need your help!!! Please take this short, anonymous survey from the State of California. Your participation in this survey is one of the ways that Elliott is evaluated, so please take the time to take the survey by following this link: https://surveys.wested.org/csps/PV677PA When you have completed the survey, send an email to me at fran.barron@abcusd with your name and your child's name and I will reward your 5th grade child with a Paw Card for reminding you to do it.

California Dashboard 2018 Results are Released!

The results from the California Dashboard for 2018 have been released and can be viewed on the attached link. The results show Attendance, Suspension, English Learner Growth and test scores from the SBAC assessment from spring 2018. Results are good at Elliott as we have scored in the Blue and Green sections in all areas. Please look at the results closely.
